Even this is not a licence to map every lyric onto a life. It is, however, the strongest public invitation to hear a confession. The song’s perceived truth is that the heart edits evidence. It sees what desire needs, breaks rules it already understands, and can mistake falling apart for flight.

That may be the best reading key for the entire archive. The songs are not court records. They are emotional reconstructions made by somebody who distrusts silence more than contradiction. Ezzy’s diary tells us less about exactly what happened than about what it felt necessary to make sing.
